Joshua Gibson Wansley

Joshua Gibson Wansley, age 34, of Asheboro passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Duke University Medical Center.

Mr. Wansley was a native of Randolph County and attended Southwestern Randolph High School.  He was employed as office manager with Wansley Tire & Automotive.  Josh was preceded in death by his mother, Annette P. Wansley.  Josh loved his children and grandchild.  He was an avid Duke fan and movie lover.

He is survived by his wife, Lorri Greene Wansley, daughters, Meredith Bell and Makayla Price both of Asheboro, son, Jarrett Price of Asheboro; granddaughter, Mia Cranford of Asheboro; father, Jimmy G. Wansley of Asheboro; sister, Keisha Miller of Asheboro; brothers, Bo Wansley and wife Aimee of Seagrove and Heath Wansley and wife Crystal of Sophia; grandmother, Myrtle J. Wansley of Asheboro; and nieces and nephews, Cora Hutto, Brittany Hutto, Harley Hutto, Avery Wansley, Heath Wansley II, Havanna Wansley, Halaina Wansley, Addyson Wansley, and Alaster Wansley.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Smith officiating.
