Joshua David Queen

Joshua David "Josh" Queen, age 29, of Randleman died Friday, May 9, 2014 at his home. Mr. Queen was born February 26, 1985 the son of Randy and Tina Queen. Josh was a native of Randolph County, graduated from Randleman High School in 2003 and attended Greensboro College where he played football all four years. He had a very outgoing personality and was loved by everyone he met. He was employed by Randleman Parks & Recreation. Josh was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Queen. In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister, Maggie Queen of Randleman; brother, Jake Queen and his fiancé Samantha Hilliard of Randleman; girlfriend, Corey Jones of Randleman; maternal grandparents, David and Betty Davis of Sophia; paternal grandmother, Shirley Queen of Archdale. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street in Randleman with Pastor J. R. Gossett officiating. In lieu of flowers the Queen family has requested that memorial donations be made instead to The Animal Awareness Society of Randleman, c/o Leigh Dawkins, 102 Hilliary Street, Randleman, NC 27317.
