Joseph Daniel Stevens

Joseph Daniel Stevens, age 84, of Randleman died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at his home. Mr. Stevens was born May 28, 1930 at the son of Charles and Ednora Stevens. Joe was a native of Randolph County and was employed with Pulpwood Lumber Yard for 50 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife of 64 years, Lucille Stevens. He is survived by his wife: Betty Moody Stevens; daughters: LaDonna Beane and her husband Monty of Randleman, Debra Hunt and her husband David of Randleman; sons: Charles Lee Stevens of Goldsboro, Jerry Stevens and his wife Joann of Hickory, Randy Stevens and his wife Agnes of Randleman, and Robert Stevens and his wife Tammy of Randleman; brother: Paul Stevens of Asheboro; step children: Sandra King of Randleman, Sue Walker (Steve McPherson) of Asheboro and Monty Walker and his wife Debbie of Greensboro; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, January 30, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Tommy R. Kidd officiating.
