Joseph Robert Sicheneder

Joseph Robert Sicheneder, age 41, of 250 Wright St., Seagrove died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Sedberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Seagrove Christian Church Cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Sicheneder was a native of Altoona, PA and was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Gulf War. He was a volunteer with the American Red Cross. He loved hunting and fishing, was a member of the Riverside Gun Club, and was an avid guitarist. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Wright Sicheneder of the home; parents, Robert and Carol Jo Pompa Sicheneder of Altoona, PA; sister, Kimberly Jo Sicheneder Hofer and her husband Kenneth of Duncansville, PA; grandmother, Cis Prosperi of Altoona, PA; niece, Kayla Quinn Hofer; nephew, Nicholas Joseph Hofer; special cousin, Andrea Marie Auman of Seagrove, NC; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sammy "Bud" and Wilma Comer Wright of Seagrove, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to American Red Cross, P.O.
