Joseph William McIntyre

Joseph William McIntyre, age 69, of 1337 NC Hwy 109N, Troy died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at his home. Mr. McIntyre was born March 5, 1938 at Montgomery County, NC the son of the late Charlie Cohen and the late Carrie Mae (Jarrell) McIntyre. He was a member of White Crest Baptist Church and retired maintenance supervisor with Springs Mills. He is survived by his wife Yvonne Gibson McIntyre of the home; one daughter: Lisa M. Martin of Denton; one son: Steve McIntyre of Asheville; two sisters: Doris Haywood of Burlington and Minnie Poole of Troy; two brothers: Hank McIntyre of Bonifay, FL and Jack McIntyre of Cana, VA; 2 grandsons. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30-8:00pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church; other times at the home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 818 Mt. Carmel Church Road, Troy with Rev. Grady Blakely and Rev. Lonnie Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home.
