Joseph Clifford Lundy, age 75, of 402 Hinshaw St., Randleman died Monday, March 22, 2010 at Hospice Home At High Point. Mr. Lundy was a native of High Point and retired from Landon Furniture of Sophia. He is preceded in death by his grandchildren; Elaine Michelle Cranford and Mary Elizabeth Cranford. brothers; Edward Eugene Lundy and Roland Victor Culler. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Elaine Hancock Lundy; children: Deborah Lundy of Randleman, Gary Lundy and his wife, Gracie of Asheboro; Rachel Thornton and her husband, Tommy of Randleman; grandchildren: Jennifer Lundy, Christopher Lundy, Rebecca Craig and Mindy Thornton. great grandchild: Caleb Lundy; brother: Reuben Lundy of Randleman; sister: Emily Shoemaker of Sophia; half brothers: Harold and Lloyd Lundy, both of Asheboro; half sisters: Jeanette Lundy, Donna Pugh and Faye Bulla, all of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 12:30 - 2:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home. A Graveside Service with Rev. Earl Lilly officiating will follow at 3:00 PM at Midway Wesleyan Church Cemetery, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman.
