Jolene Fairrington, age 63, of Charlotte passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at North Pointe Assisted Living Community in Randleman.
Ms. Fairrington was born in Montgomery County on May 15, 1955 to Richard L. and Joyce McLeod Fairrington. She was retired from New Hanover County as a Social Worker. Jolene was the female lead singer for The Clockwork Band for many years. Jolene was a very social lady who loved people and was always the life of the party. She was a devoted sister, mom, and nonni to Chloe.
She is survived by her daughters, Chase Law and husband Ron of Charlotte, Nicole Armstrong of Wilmington; son, Russ Armstrong of Wilmington; granddaughter, Chloe Law; sister, Nina Allard of Asheboro; and brothers, Rick Fairrington of Asheboro, and Doug Fairrington of Randleman.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Cash and Rev. Dave Cash officiating. Burial will be held in Ether United Methodist Church Cemetery in Star.
