Johnsie Snider

Johnsie Davis Snider, age 82, of Randleman died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mrs. Snider was born December 31, 1934 the daughter of Fred and Margie Nixon Davis. Johnsie was a native of Randolph County and a member of First Baptist Church in Randleman. She was employed with Burlington Hosiery but retired from Laughlin Hosiery in Randleman. Johnsie was an awesome cook, especially her chicken pie and she enjoyed sewing and gardening and loved being involved in her daughters school events. In addition to her parents, Johnsie is preceded in death by her sister, Treva Allen. She is survived by her husband of 60 years: George Fred Snider of the home; daughter: Sheila Snider Baldwin and her husband Jack of Franklinville; grandchildren: Benjamin Joseph Baldwin, Cora Baldwin Redding and her husband Doug, Rachel Baldwin Branson and her husband Eric, and Adam Lynn Baldwin; great grandchild, Cody Douglas Redding; and brother: Mack Davis of Franklinville. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A chapel service will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Randolph Memorial Park Mausoleum, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Chris Heppding and Rev.
