Johnny Leath Chriscoe, age 51, of Randleman died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 2010 at 11:00 am at Midway Wesleyan Church with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Mr. Chriscoe was a native of Randolph County, a 1976 graduate of Asheboro High School and served in the U.S. Marine Reserves from 1976 until 1988. He was formerly employed with Proctor and Gamble for 25 years and was a self-employed carpenter. Mr. Chriscoe was a member of Midway Wesleyan Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Mary Lawrence Chriscoe.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Chriscoe; son, Jonathan Chriscoe and his wife Carrie of Asheboro; grandchildren, Samantha and Savanna Chriscoe; brothers, Sam Chriscoe and his wife Monica of Lexington, Jerry Chriscoe and his wife Kelly of Asheboro, Carlton Chriscoe and his wife Debbie of High Point, Stevie Chriscoe and his wife Rachel of Archdale; sisters, Rosalee Surratt of Asheboro, Joanne Willis and her husband Anthony of Beaufort, Janice Martin and her husband Terry of Seagrove.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.
