Johnny Fred Cagle

Johnny Fred Cagle, age 64, of Asheboro died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Mr. Cagle was born in Asheboro on February 14, 1951 to Clarence and Betty Hill Cagle. Johnny was a 1969 graduate of Seagrove High School. He was formerly employed with Klopman Mills for 20 years and sold insurance for A.L. Williams. He was a mason, a member of Balfour Lodge #188 and was an avid golfer. Johnny was a beloved brother and uncle. He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Davis of Seagrove, Janice Pugh and husband Bobby of Asheboro; brother, Ronald E. Cagle of Seagrove; nieces, Courtney Davis, Crystal Davis McDowell and husband Darren; nephew, Robby Pugh; great niece, Addie McDowell; and great nephew, David McDowell. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 6:00-7:15 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A memorial service, with masonic rites, will follow on Friday at 7:30 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry L. Reeder officiating.
