Johnny Charles Brown

Johnny Charles Brown, age 71, of Troy died Friday, March 30, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Brown was born April 4, 1946 the son of Charlie C. Brown and Margaret Saunders Brown.

Mr. Brown was a native of Montgomery County and retired from Capel Mills after many years in the textiles business. Johnny enjoyed sports playing baseball, softball and golf. He was an avid Duke and Dodger Fan. In addition to his parents, Charlie and Margaret Brown, Johnny was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Brown.

He is survived by his brother: Jerry Brown and his wife, Patsy of Troy; nephews, Tony (Tonia) Brown of Shelby and Toby (Elizabeth) Brown of Pine Haven; and a host of good friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 2, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Pugh-Troy Funeral Home Chapel, 211 North Main Street, Troy with Steve Hurley and Tony Brown officiating.Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery, Troy.
