Johnie Beane

Johnie Beane, age 93, of Randleman died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Beane was born November 8, 1923 the son of Dennis and Dora Belle Clodfelter Beane. Johnie was a native of Greensboro and spent his early life in Black Ankle, NC. He served in the US Army during WWII, worked in the furniture industry and retired with Thomas Bus of High Point, NC. He greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved having children around, always with a piece of candy at the ready. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Grace Williamson Beane. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will follow at 11:00AM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ralph Pugh officiating. Burial with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
