John "Mitt" Routh

John Milton "Mitt" Routh, age 89, of Randleman died Friday, December 12, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Routh was born December 3, 1925 the son of Claude and Eutha Jean Trotter Routh. Mitt was a native of Randolph County and served his country as a Merchant Marine, Army veteran and Navy veteran. He was the former operator of Circle Inn Restaurant in Randleman. He is survived by four daughters: Marion Toth of Germany; Johnett Stanley of Randleman, NC; Angela Rush of Sophia, NC; and Michelle Crotts; one son: Scott Routh of Ocean Isle, NC; three sisters: Helen Campbell of Sophia, NC, Gladys Brown of Randleman, NC, Bobby Lineberry of Randleman, NC and two brothers: Tom Routh of Randleman, NC, Clinton Routh of Baltimore, MD The funeral will be Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 1:00 PM, a Graveside Service, with military honors by the Randolph Honor Guard, at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3650 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville with Pastor Pat Dixon officiating.
