John Ernest Loveland, age 65, of 5296 Fred Lineberry Road, Randleman died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Loveland was born June 24, 1946 in Shelby, OH the son of Glenn Ernest and Elizabeth Catherine (Grauer) Loveland. John was a graduate from Shelby High School and received his Associate degree from Jefferson College in Greensboro. Mr. Loveland served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired from Goodyear in Asheboro with 28 years of service. He had unconditional love and was devoted to his family. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan Jefferson Loveland.
He is survived by his wife: Katrina Little Loveland, of the home; sons: Heath Marshall Loveland and his wife Debbie of Randleman, Chad Ernest Loveland and his wife Gina of Randleman, Van Clark Loveland and close friend Brad Stanley of Clemmons, NC; daughter: Kristin Loveland Kivette and her husband Jason of Randleman; grandchildren: Cole Ernest "Bub" Loveland, Austin Miles "Chub" Kivette, Justice Marie "Sissy" Kivette; step grandchild: Kevin Connor and his wife Dana; step great grandchildren: Jaxson and Nicolas Connor.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service with Randolph County Honor Guard will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro .
