John Thomas Jarrell

John Thomas "Tommy" Jarrell, age 62, of Asheboro died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston- Salem. Mr. Jarrell was born March 15, 1954 in Randolph County, NC, the son of Walter Franklin and Dora Leah Little Jarrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Franklin "Pete" Jarrell and sister, Evelyn Louise Kearns. He is survived by his sister, Judy and her husband, Michael Lamar, his brother, Larry Jarrell, and sister, Dorothy Jarrell Cagle, all of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Monday, April 11, 2016 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at High Pine Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Asheboro with Rev. Mark Spencer officiating.
