John Henry Hoots

John Henry Hoots, age 83, of Troy, NC, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Montgomery Village Assisted Living in Star, NC.

John was born in Yadkinville, NC to the late Sanford Augustine Hoots and Eva Belle Reavis Hoots.

John was preceded in death by his daughter Julie at a young age, his sister Addie Hoots and his three brothers, Carl Hoots, Gerald Hoots and Herbert Hoots. 

He is survived by his brother Jim Hoots, special niece Wanda Harrington and special nephew Tommy Poindexter, and 4 estranged children. 

John has numerous nieces and nephews and a lot of family and friends that loved him and will miss him.

John was a dairy farmer in his younger days and went on to be a truck driver.  

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Biscoe Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
