John Robert Holyfield

John Robert Holyfield, age 67, of Trinity died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the V.A. Medical Center, Salisbury. Mr. Holyfield was born September 13, 1947 the son of Ardist and Wanda Webster Holyfield. John was a native of Guilford County and retired from Black & Decker in Asheboro. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his daughter: Sherri Holyfield of Lexington; sons: Joseph Holyfield of Norfolk, VA, and Ronald Holyfield and his wife Dana of Salisbury; 4 grandchildren; brothers: Ardist Holyfield, Jr. and his wife Nora of Sophia, and Danny Holyfield and his wife Linda Jane of TX; sisters: Linda Faye Berriman and her husband Ricky of Asheboro, and Traci Keman and her husband Geno of Sophia; Uncle Brooks Webster and his wife Betty Lou of Brown Summit. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.
