John Richard Gibson

John Richard Gibson, age 69, of 6826 Royal Ridge Rd., Ramseur died from complications of a stroke on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Mr. Gibson was born in Greensboro, NC on August 6, 1942 to Quiton Irvin and Lila May Jones Gibson. He was a retired welder and was a member of Hill Top Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Donna Smith Gibson; son and his wife, Ron Gibson and his wife Tonya of Staley, NC; daughters, Rhonda McMasters and her husband Roy of Staley, NC, Angel Dilldine and her husband Jason of Ramseur, NC; the love of his life his grandchildren, Richard Gibson of Staley, NC, John Richard Gibson of Greensboro, NC, Cody Sorrell of Ramseur, NC, Rhiannon McMasters of Staley, NC, Kendra McMasters of Staley, NC, Kole Dilldine of Ramseur, NC, Corey Poole of Greensboro, NC, Sahara Moore of Staley, NC, Alexis Dilldine of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Reggie Gibson of Seagrove, NC, Reed Gibson of South Carolina, Johnny Daniels of Greensboro, NC, and Danny Daniels of Greensboro, NC. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the National Stroke Association, 9707 East Easter Lane Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112.
