John Howard Fain, II

John Howard "Scooby" Fain, II, age 27, of Sophia died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at his home. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 10, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery. John was a native of Randolph County and a member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church in Trinity. He enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He is survived by his sons, Gunter and Noah Fain of Sophia; father and step-mother, Steve and Sherry Fain; mother, Linda Fain, sisters, Lindsay Absher of Lexington, Melissa Smith of Ft. Myers, FL, Daniele Deel of Wilmington; brother, Brandon Fain of Trinity; step brother, Timothy Hutto of Trinity; grandparents, John H. and Brenda Fain of Trinity. . The family will receive friends Friday, February 10, 2012 from 1-2:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC.
