John Edgar Craig

John Edgar Craig, age 61, of 156 Haywood Country Dr, Mt. Gilead died Monday, February 9, 2009 at W.G. Hefner Medical Center, Salisbury.Mr. Craig was born September 7, 1947 in San Bernardino, CA the son of Victor and Clara (Cranford) Parsons. Although born in California, John lived most of his life in the Montgomery County area. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War .He is survived by his mother, Clara (Cranford) Parsons of Candor; two sisters: Janice Bridges of Candor, Cynthia Blake of Mt. Gilead; four brothers: Joe Parsons of Mt. Gilead, Leet Parsons and Steve Craig, both of Candor, Victor Craig, Jr. of Mesa, AZ.The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; A memorial graveside service with military honors will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at Parsons Grove United Methodist Cemetery, Pekin Rd, Candor with Rev.
