John David Brown, age 68, of Randleman passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation.
Mr. Brown was born in Greensboro on January 14, 1948 to Edward and Ethel Rickman Brown. John served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed as a welder and was a member of All Souls Anglican Church. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. John enjoyed watching wildlife and loved his pets. John never met a stranger, he loved picking on people, and had many, many friends. John loved to cook and have campfires.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Brown; daughter, Judy Brown Hallquist of McMinnville, OR; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers Ted Brown and wife Vickie of Greensboro, Don Brown of Ramseur, Pete Brown and wife Sylvia of Greensboro, Jack Brown and wife Donna of Liberty, Richard Brown and wife Eva of Greensboro; sisters, Vivian Rash and husband Raymond of Climax, Wanda Mounce and husband Gary of Climax, and Murttie Moore of Greensboro.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
