John Lee Bingham

John Lee Bingham, age 57, of Asheboro died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his home. Mr. Bingham was a native of Randolph County and a member of West Bend United Methodist Church. As a fan of trivia, he loved old movies, music and storytelling. Mr. Bingham enjoyed vintage collectibles and was an Elvis fan. Mr. Bingham was widely known to love his family and his cats. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Franklin Bingham. He is survived by his mother, Barbara A. Bingham of Greensboro; brother, Steven Bingham and his wife Deborah of Belmont, NC; sister, Bobbie Lynn Bingham, nephew, Christopher Bingham, niece, Caitlin Bingham all of Greensboro; and life-long friends, Gary Freeman and Mike Hamilton both of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 10:00-11:00AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Garner officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
