Joann Cline Foland

Joann Cline Foland, age 78, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at her sons' home.

Mrs. Foland was born in Danville, VA on January 16, 1939 to Charlie Crockett and Helen Ruth Boyles Cline. She was retired from Cross Road Retirement Community. In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Foland and granddaughter, Rosalei F. Foland. Joann was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and "mal mal" and a great friend that was loved by many people.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Saunders and husband Junior of Star; sons, Rodney Foland and wife Michelle of Seagrove; Norman Foland and wife Brenda of Mt. Gilead; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at the home of Rodney Foland. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Miller officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
