Joan Elizabeth Harris

Joan Elizabeth Harris, 63, of Asheboro, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2013 at Crestview Wesleyan Church, 180 Crestview Church Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Jerry Johnson officiating. Ms. Harris was an Asheboro native and was former manager of the Jewelry department at the Asheboro Wal-Mart. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ms. Harris is survived by her son Zachary Byrd and wife Crystal of Asheboro; daughter Gena Byrd of Asheboro; brothers Scott Harris of Asheboro, David Harris of Costa Rica; sister Barbara Winslow of Seattle, WA; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
