Jimmy Wayne "Jim" Cullop, age 64, of Franklinville died Monday, May 4, 2015 at his home. Jim was born February 19, 1951 at Abingdon, VA the son of Fred and Dorothy Nash Cullop. He grew up in Rome, NY, but later moved to Greensboro and retired from Overnite Transportation in Greensboro. Jim was a jokester and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed his western shows and his daily cups of coffee. He will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Talton and brother, Wayne Sherman. He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Danette "Dee" Craft Cullop; son: Timothy Cullop, who Jim lovingly called "Timbo" and his wife Terri; loving poppop to his grandchildren; Trampas Wood, Sayge and Gracie Cullop, Lori Robbins, and Leah Mason; great grandchildren: Cohen and Jaxson; and his four-legged friend, of 12 years Tobie. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 High Point Rd., Greensboro. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Randolph County, 902 Straight St., Asheboro, NC 27203. Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman is serving the Cullop family.
