Jimmy Darrell Adams, age 65, of Asheboro died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.
Mr. Adams was a native of Randolph County and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war for 4 years. Jimmy was formerly employed with Ivey's trucking and paving in Randleman.
He is survived by his brother, Butch Adams, and his wife, Chris of Sophia, sisters: Jeanie Ivey and Brenda Farmer both of Randleman, Margaret Hill and her husband, Jerald of Bennett, Lynn Davis and her husband, Gene of Reidsville; step Sons, Eddie and Chris Richardson and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times of the home of Jeanie Ivey, 678 Railroad Ave., Randleman.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 25, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Robert Brown and Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
