Jimmie Darrell "Cockandroll" Davis, age 63, of Randleman died Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Mr. Davis was born in Guilford County on October 8, 1951 to Jimmie Howell and Beulah Irene Carter Davis. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Darrell was retired as a self-employed electrician. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Garrison, Brenda Deaton, and Irene Davis, and brother, Roger Davis. He is survived by sister, Nellie Davis Burleson of Sophia; nephew, Paul Edward Burleson II of Jamestown; nieces, Angela Allred of Greensboro; Penny Oxendine of Rock Hill, SC, Terry Canoy Payne of Rock Hill, SC; great niece, Taylor Canoy of Rock Hill, SC; several great nephews; close friends, Tommy Gwyn of Conway, SC and Hot Rod of Randleman. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main St., Randleman. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Business North, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
