Jewell Staley Brown

Jewell Staley Brown, age 73, of 412 E. Balfour Ave., Asheboro died Friday, May 1, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Brown was born September 12, 1935 in Randolph Co. the daughter of Floyd Eldon Staley, Sr. and Moleta Needham Staley. Ms. Brown was a graduate of Seagrove High School and retired from Klaussner Furniture Industries after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Hicks of Asheboro and brother, Edward Staley of Roxboro. She is survived by her daughter: Jennifer Beane and husband Bill of Asheboro; grandson: Mason Beane of Asheboro; sisters: Peggy Threadgill of Ramseur and Karen and husband David Cox of Asheboro; brothers: Eldon and wife Julia Staley of Ramseur and Ricky and wife Judy Staley of Parnell, MO.The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 10 until 11 AM prior to service time at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro other times at the home of her daughter, 671 W. Balfour Ave. in Asheboro. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM following visitation at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel in Asheboro with Rev. Edward J. Arroyo officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery in Seagrove.In leiu of flowers Memorials may be made to Mt.
