Jettie Jo Lovell

Jettie Jo Allred Lovell, age 81, of Randleman died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Randolph Health, Asheboro. Mrs. Lovell was born April 23, 1936 the daughter of Graydon and Mary Glasgow Allred. Jettie Jo was a native of Randolph County and worked at Commonwealth Hosiery and retired from Black & Decker in Asheboro. She was a member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, having been to all 50 states, and was known for her fabulous strawberry cakes. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 63 years: Walter Leroy Lovell; daughter and her husband: Janet Lynn and Ricky Lynn Dunn of Randleman, NC; son and his wife: Mark S. and Carla Lovell of Randleman, NC; grandchildren: Jessica Picard, Erica (Jeff) LaRue, Nicholas (Lindsey) Picard, Stephanie, Catherine and Jenny Lovell; and one great granddaughter: Madi Jo LaRue. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro with Dr. Bruce Dickerson and Pastor Randy Browder officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
