Jessie Blanche Thompson

Jessie Blanche Thompson, age 61, of 413 Mill Street, Biscoe died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation, Biscoe. Mrs. Thompson was born April 30, 1948 in Moore County, NC, the daughter of Colon and Cennie Parsons. She was a former employee of McRae Shoe Factory. She is survived by her husband: Jessie Carson Thompson of Troy; one daughter: Tammy T. Ingram of Biscoe; six sons: Donald Carvin Thompson of Troy, Joseph Carson Thompson of Troy, Jesse Adam Thompson of Star, Archie Martin Thompson of Troy, Kelly Marvin Thompson of New London, Jessie Carson Thompson, Jr. of Troy; one sister: Laura Freeman of Candor, one brother: Carvin Parsons of Charlotte; step-daughter, Donna Garcia of Leland, NC; step-son, David Carson Thompson of Ellerbe; 33 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home of Archie Marvin Thompson, 179 Lassiter Loop Rd., Troy. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Lomax Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Correll Road, Troy with Rev. Chip Bryant officiating. Arrangements by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home.
