Jessie Wayne LaPine

Jessie Wayne LaPine, age 66, of Randleman passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his home.

Mr. LaPine was born in Pensacola, FL on September 29, 1952 to John Leo and Dorothy Hope Stanton LaPine. He was retired from Maxton Trucking and was a member of Burnett's Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his son, John LaPine and brother, Mark Stevens LaPine.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Glenda Bowan LaPine; son, Jessie W. LaPine, Jr. of Asheboro; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Freeman of Franklinville and brother, Kenny LaPine of Greensboro.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Burnett's Chapel United Methodist Church, 1201 Burnett's Chapel Road in Greensboro with Rev. Edwin Armfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
