Jessie William Burrow

Jessie William Burrow, age 88, of 1306 Old Cox Rd., Apt. 44, Asheboro, formerly of Shamrock Rd., Asheboro, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Burrow was a native of Randolph County and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving in the 25th Infantry Division. He was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of West Bend United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Wilma R. Burrow; sons, Bill Burrow, Jr. and his wife Linda of Asheboro, NC; Don W. Burrow of Rocky Mount, NC, Rusty S. Burrow of Aberdeen, MD; daughter, Ellen B. Jones and her husband David of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Beth Kearns of Wilmington, NC; Bruce Burrow of Asheboro, NC; Adam Jones, Sam Jones and Mark Jones all of Roanoke, VA; sisters, Ruby Baldwin of Asheboro, NC, Minnie Sando of Rochester, NY. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at his home.
