Jessie Brantley

Justiana "Jessie" Quaglia Brantley, age 97, of Asheboro passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions of Asheboro.

Mrs. Brantley was born in Birdsboro, PA on November 29, 1919 to Pietro and Maria Fontana Quaglia. She was a graduate of Reading High School. Jessie was employed with 220 Grill for 35 years and was a member of Central Falls Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband Joe M. Brantley and 7 siblings. Jessie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and enjoyed making birthday cakes for everyone.

She is survived by her sons, Pat Brantley of Asheboro, Jeff Brantley and wife Amy of Asheboro, Jon Brantley of Randleman, and Jim Brantley and wife Keeble of Inman, SC; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and sister, Gelsia Franz of Fairfax, CA.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Union Grove Christian Church Cemetery, 3985 Old NC Hwy 13, Asheboro with Rev. Gerald Hussey officiating.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Brookdale Senior Living for the wonderful care given to Jessie.
