Jerry Wayne McCawley

Jerry Wayne McCawley, age 69, Randleman died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Jerry was a native of Louisvelle, Ky., but has lived in the Level Cross area since 1996. Jerry served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. In Jerry's younger years he did a lot of hunting, but has taken more of an interest in fishing. Jerry loved to travel and took pride in his 1977 Corvette. He is survived by his wife: Judie Strong McCawley; daughter, Rebecca Burmeismer of Level Cross; granddaughter, Amanda and Amber Burmeismer both of Randleman; great grandchild, Remington "Remi" Burmeister; sister, Patricia Florence of Taylersville, Ky. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 5:00-6:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 in the Chapel with Rev. Wendell Herring officiating.
