Jerry Aundra Goins

Jerry Aundra Goins, age 81, of Asheboro died Friday, October 30, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Goins was born January 1, 1934 the son of Ross Lee Goins and Elgie Green Goins. Mr. Goins was a native of Davidson County and a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired from Oliver Rubber, formerly Harrellson Rubber, after 42 years of service where Jerry worked for over 37 years without missing a day of work. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by siblings: Robert Lee "Sonny" Goins, Donald Goins, Patricia Bowman and his twin sister: Janet Goins Richards. He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Harriet Hight Goins; two brothers: Ronald Goins of Winston- Salem and Roger Goins of Asheboro; two sisters: Mary Graham Hatley of Melbourne, Fla and Evelyn Stout of Thomasville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. A private inurnment will be held at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
