Jerry Lee Freeman

Jerry Lee Freeman, age 61, of 2481 Hwy 134, Troy died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 his home. Jerry was born March 7, 1947 at Asheboro, but lived most of his life in Troy. He was the son of the late Walter and the late Rosie (Owens) Freeman. He was a retired furniture upholsterer for Blackstone Furniture. He is survived by his wife Sue Hall Freeman of the home; one son: Jimmy Hunsucker and wife, Tina of Mt. Gilead; two sisters: Ruby F Caviness of Bennett, Betty F Allen of Star; four brothers: Walter Freeman, Jr. and Griffin Freeman, both of Asheboro, Donald "Cotton" Freeman and Jimmy Freeman, both of Troy; 2 Grandsons: Derick Hunsucker and Jonathan Hunsucker; 1 Step-granddaughter: Megan Lassiter; 1 Step-grandson: Jordan Lassiter. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 1 - 2:45 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy; other times at the home. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 3pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home with Rev. Brantley Moore & Rev. Lee Carter officiating. Memorials may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice, 120 N.
