Jerry Kellon Britt

Jerry Kellon Britt, age 72, of Robbins died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at his home. Mr. Britt was born August 23, 1936 in Moore County, NC, the son of Clarence and Mary Wicker Britt. He was a US Army veteran and a retired electrician who loved blue grass music. In additions to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lee Britt and a sister, Brenda Medlin. He is survived by his wife: Reba Collins Britt; one son, Terry Britt of Charlotte; one daughter: Rhonda B. Chalflinch; two sisters: Colleen Nall of Star, Ann Dingman of Greensboro; two brothers: Robert Britt of Star and Jimmy Britt of Robbins; and 2 grandchildren: Erica Jeanie Chalflinch and Jason Kellon Chalflinch. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 - 8 PM at Guiding Light Baptist Church, Spies Rd., Robbins. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Guiding Light Baptist Church with Jason Chalflinch and Rev. Lonnie Carter officiating. Burial will be in Britt Family Cemetery, Spies Rd., Robbins.
