Jerry Dale Bodenhamer

Jerry Dale Bodenhamer, age 55, of Sophia died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Mr. Bodenhamer was born May 4, 1960 the son of Bobby Eugene and Dorothy Gibbs Bodenhamer. Jerry was a dedicated employee with Mickey Body for 29 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jerry was the ultimate family man and provider who was full of life. Jerry was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church and served on the Fellowship Committee. He was very passionate about serving God. In addition to his parents Jerry is preceded in death by his brothers: Gary and Timothy Bodenhamer. He is survived by his wife: Tammy Bryant Bodenhamer of the home; daughters: Callie Bodenhamer of Sophia and Cara Cassata and her husband Michael of Randleman; granddaughters: Adrina and Madyson Cassata; sisters: Teresa Branch and her husband Curtis of Asheboro, Cathy Davis and her husband Greg of Randleman, Patricia Beck and her husband Ernest of Burlington, and Beverly Martin and her husband "Skip" of Lawrenceville, GA.; brothers: Ricky Bodenhamer of Sophia, Dennis Bodenhamer of Lexington, Jeffery Bodenhamer of Randleman and Bobby Bodenhamer, of Sophia. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Cross Road Baptist Church, 1566 Old Cox Road, Asheboro with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson and Rev. Ernest Beck officiating. Burial will follow at South Plainfield Friends Meeting Cemetery, Sophia.
