Jeanne N Wall, 82, died Wednesday, Dec.10, 2008 in Asheboro, North Carolina.A memorial service and celebration of Jeanne's life will be held in Wichita, June 2009 Arrangements to be announced, contact Ken Wall, 235 E. Private family interment will follow at Rochester Cemetery in Topeka, KansasShe was survived by her daughter, Gin Wall of Asheboro, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Robin Wall, Missoula, MT; and granddaughters Iris Wall, NYC and Jenna Wall, Brisbane, Australia; her in-laws' Lee Noel and Orie & Pat Wall, Bob & Benta Wall; nieces and nephews Jerry Malcom, Sylvia McAlister, Shirley Remby, Jim Noel, OE and Mark Wall; her best friends who were also family Jim and Thayce Lindsay; friend and caregiver Deborah Andrews and her beloved black lab Angel.Jeanne was born in Lancaster, CA and raised in Ft. Scott, KS. She was an administrative assistant for the Menninger Clinic, and for Doctors Al and Lilian Tocker. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Judge Willis W. Wall. They were married for 50 years, and lived in Wichita. She was a member of the Zohar Temple, Daughters of the Nile, and the First Presbyterian Church in Wichita. Jeanne extended her professional life into active leadership in a volunteer career with the Girl Scouts, Republican party, and Wesley Medical Center Auxilary, serving as state president and receiving a lifetime achievement award in 2005.In honor of Jeanne's lifelong interest in people and wildlife, memorials may be directed to Wesley Auxiliary, Wesley Medical Center, 550 N.
