Jeane Marie Kennedy

Jeane Fleming Kennedy, age 82, of 334 W. Academy St., Randleman died Monday, February 6, 2012 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Mrs. Kennedy was born February 18, 1929 the daughter of Robert and Mary Burgess Fleming. Mrs. Kennedy was a native of Randolph County and a member of Midway Wesleyan Church. Jeane was a bookkeeper, homemaker and caregiver. She was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed bird watching. In addition to her parents, Jeane is preceded in death by her son Lou Kennedy and sister Carol Fleming. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years: Herman Kennedy of the home; son: Jeffrey Kennedy and his wife Anne of Randleman; grandchildren, Ross Kennedy, Sarah Beth Kennedy, Bryan Kennedy, and Michelle Whitaker and her husband, Rodney; great grandchild Haley Whitaker. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Jeff Kennedy, 210 Cedar Run Dr., Randleman. The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 11:00 am at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman with Rev. J. Arnold Luther and Pastor Steve McSwain officiating.
