Jean Hester Manring, age 83, formerly of Randleman, was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Country Manor Rest Home in Franklinville.
Mrs. Manring was born August 10, 1931 in Forsyth County, the daughter of Charlie and Estelle Reed Hester. She was retired after 25 years of service from Black and Decker in Asheboro. She was a Christian by faith and a long time member of New Salem Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Manring, her son, Ronnie Manring, and sisters, Flavel Idol, Dorothy Morton, and Loretta Montgomery.
Left to cherish her memory are, Daughter, "Elaine" Manring and Tony Maness of Franklinville; Daughter in Law, Bobbie Manring; Neice, Rhonda Jackson Foreman of Randleman; and many other family members and church family that loved her dearly.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 PM at New Salem Baptist Church in Randleman with Pastor Phillip Tarlton officiating.
Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
