Jean Powell Harrelson

Jean Powell Harrelson, age 83, of Randleman died Friday, August 31, 2012 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Harrelson was born December 16, 1928 the daughter of David and Luella Allred Powell. Jean was a native of Randolph County and retired from Mr. Jeans in Randleman after 40 plus years of service. She was an avid quilt maker and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She is survived by two daughters: Carol E. Wilson and Annette Shaw both of Randleman; grandchildren: Shelly Brown of Randleman, Abigail Millikan of Asheboro, Tana Morton of Asheboro and Brianna Macon of Randleman; great grandchildren: Zade Brown of Randleman, Karlee Millikan of Asheboro, Dekota Shaw of Randleman and Camden Hayes of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Midway United Missionary Church, Stout St. in Randleman with Rev. Terry Bailey officiating.
