Jay Alexander Marshall

Jay Alexander Marshall, age 22, of 325 Princess St., Troy died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Stanly Regional Medical Ctr., Albemarle. Jay was born June 9, 1985 at Troy, NC, the son of Faye Marshall of Troy. He was a 2003 graduate of West Montgomery High School and an automobile detailer at Montgomery Motors of Troy. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters: Jessica D. Marshall of the home and Alena Joy Marshall of Seattle, WA; two brothers: Lee Jamison Marshall of Edison, NJ and Ossie Jerel Marshall of the home; maternal grandmother, Lena Marshall of Troy. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Troy Chapel AME Zion Church, 130 Barnhill St., Troy with Rev. Rockford B. Penn, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Freeman Hill Cemetery, Warner Rd., Troy, NC. Arrangements are by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home.
