Jasper Roy "J.R." Hinshaw

Jasper Roy "J.R." Hinshaw, Jr., age 77, of Asheboro died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Hinshaw was born in High Point on June 21, 1938 to Jack and Frances Robbins Hinshaw. He was a graduate of Farmer High School and a US Army veteran. Mr. Hinshaw was retired from Lowe's Hardware after 20 years of service and was a member of Back Creek Friends Meeting. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hinshaw was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Garner Hinshaw. He is survived by his sons, Mark Hinshaw and wife Dee, Jody Hinshaw and wife Michelle all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Alex, Luke, and Jack Hinshaw all of Asheboro; brother, William Thomas "Bill" Hinshaw of Asheboro. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Jon Reece officiating.
