Jason Robert Motta

Jason Robert Motta, age 26, of 2866 Hickory Dr., Asheboro died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at his home. Jason was a 2003 graduate of Asheboro High School. He attended UNC-G and served in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Norfolk, VA on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Jason was loved by many and will be missed terribly. Within his short lifetime he lived every moment to make people laugh. In addition to his love for little Fiona and humorous prank calls he enjoyed rollerblading, skiing and weightlifting. In addition to his parents, Ron and Carol of the home, he leaves his sister, Marissa A. Motta of Greensboro, NC; his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Briemer of Lady Lake, FL; and his maternal grandfather, Robert Briemer of Buzzards Bay, MA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Jarrett officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 immediately following the service until 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Northridge Church, for the Children's Adventure Group, 115 Waketa Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
