Jarvis Pegram's first day on Earth was December 24, 1920 and his first Day in Heaven was April 8, 2010.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 3:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J. C. Miles and Rev. Tommy Fuquay officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Mr. Pegram was a native of Forsyth County and an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Asheboro Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from Mid-State Paper Box after 55 years of service. Mr. Pegram was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hill Pegram.
He is survived by his son, Hilary Lewis Pegram and his wife Sue of Ramseur; daughters, Bonita Pegram Chaney and her husband Bert of Asheboro, Mana Pegram Trogdon and her husband Rene of Randleman, Dona Pegram Trogdon and her husband Rick of Westminster, SC; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, other times at the home of Mana and Rene Trogdon, 4427 Fox St., Randleman.
