Janice Norris Gooch

Janice Norris Gooch, age 63 , of Warner Rd., Troy died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at her home. Janice was born August 12, 1952 at Troy, NC, the daughter of James Robert (Jimmy) and Emily Burns Norris, both who precede her in death. She was employed by as a tax preparer by H & R Block. Janice loved her children, granddaughters and the beach. Janice was a people person who never met a stranger. She is survived by one daughter, Jantzen Gooch of the home; one son, David Gooch of the home; two granddaughters; one sister, Sue Hatley of Troy and cousin, Elaine Cox of Troy. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home Chapel, 211 N Main St., Troy with Rev. Brantley Moore officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, S. Main St., Troy. The family will receive friends at the home. Pugh-Troy Funeral Home is serving the Gooch Family.
