Janice Karen Garner

Janice Karen Brown Garner, age 73, of Troy passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Garner was born August 30, 1944 in Robbins, the daughter of the late Aster and Hester Britt Brown. Janice was a Godly, strong willed woman.  She enjoyed traveling to the mountains, fishing and cooking, especially desserts.  Janice was a member at Rehobeth Baptist Church in Greensboro and worked 20 years at Milltowne Furniture.  She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends.  

She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Leon Garner, son, Andy Garner and wife Jennifer of Pleasant Garden; daughters: Karen Routh and husband Todd of Climax and Crystal Collins and husband Jimmy of Walkertown; grandson, Joshua Garner; granddaughters, Lauren Garner and Anna Garner; grandson, Hunter Routh and wife Summer; and granddaughters, Hailey Small and Hanna Collins.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman and other times at the home of Karen and Todd Routh.  The funeral will follow at 12:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Garner and Rev. David Beck officiating. Burial will follow the service at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
