Janet Groben McFadden

Janet Groben McFadden, age 86, of 3137 Grange Hall Rd., Asheboro died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at her home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2007 at 11:00 am at Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro with Pastor Melvin Morton officiating. Mrs. McFadden was a native of Philadelphia, PA and was a graduate of Germantown High School. From 1954 until 2005 she lived in the Chestertown, MD area. While living in the Chestertown area, she was employed with Townsend-Kane Insurance Company and was a member of Chestertown Baptist Church. Mrs. McFadden has been a resident of Asheboro since 2005. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Henry McFadden; daughters, Carolyn Jane Wilson of Asheboro, NC, Nancy Rachel Henderson of Tampa, FL, Alice Bradley of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Rachel Rees of Greensboro, NC, Andrew McArthur and Matthew McArthur both of Asheboro, NC, James McArthur of Madisonville, KY, Jason Henderson of Kalamazoo, MI, Jennifer Patterson of Tampa, FL, Andrew Bradley of Chestertown, MD and Katherine Bradley of Phoenix, AZ; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Groben of Hatboro, PA; sister, Marian White of Clearwater, FL.
