Janet Wood Deese

Janet Wood Deese, age 53, of 202 Saunders Rd., Troy died Friday, March 27, 2009.Mrs. Deese was born May 22, 1955 in Montgomery County, NC. She was a member of Love Joy United Methodist Church and a former employee of the Montgomery County Tax Department. She was preceded in death by her father, E H Wood, Jr.She is survived by one daughter: Jennifer Deese of Chapel Hill; mother: Mary Ruth (Poole) Wood, of Troy; three sisters: Suzanne W Luther of Goldston, Barbara W Hinson of Mt. Gilead, Patricia W Moody of Troy; two brothers: E H (Sonny) Wood, III of Maxton and Robert Wood of Troy; one grandson.The family will receive friends at the home. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at Love Joy United Methodist Church, Substation Rd., Troy with Rev. Tommy Haynes officiating.
